Half of Whitman's recorded August deeds were trust transfers, not sales

Plymouth County Registry of Deeds records show 10 property transfers in Whitman from July 31 through Aug. 29, though only five carried a recorded sale price, ranging from $470,000 to $615,000 with a median of $550,000. The remaining five were nominal-consideration transfers, several involving trust or family-related entities, and are not counted as sales. The month's top transaction was 27 Erin St., which sold for $615,000 on Aug. 3. With just five priced sales recorded so far, the data points to limited transaction volume for the period, though additional prices may still post to the registry in the coming days.
