Whitman posts 12 recorded deeds in late-summer stretch, half without disclosed prices
Whitman recorded 12 property deeds between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only six listed a sale price, ranging from $470 to $599 with a median of $512. The top disclosed sale was 289 Commercial St. at $599, sold by Commercial St Realty Trust to Kelley A. Chuckran. Six of the 12 transfers moved property within families or into trusts without a disclosed price, and one, 22 Old Coach Road, sold from an estate to a business buyer, New View Homes Inc. No street had more than one sale, and bed, bath and square-footage data were not available. With half the deeds undisclosed, the data offers only a partial view of local market conditions.
