Whitman Board of Health Authorizes Brockton to Post Regional Meeting Agendas

WHITMAN — March 16, 2026 — Whitman Board of Health voted to let Brockton post regional meeting agendas, ending a duplicative obligation for all five Public Health Excellence collaborative communities. The two-member quorum of Danielle Clancy and Tom Evans, meeting March 16 for the first time since November after a canceled December session and two snowstorm postponements, unanimously approved a motion under 940 CMR 29.03 authorizing Brockton's health department, as the collaborative's host community, to handle agenda postings on behalf of all members. Health Inspector Dan Kelly reported a busy stretch of housing complaints — pests, heat violations — typical of the season. A board member flagged tuberculosis activity in the area, urging residents to get vaccinated. Two scheduled agenda items went unheard after both outside parties failed to appear.
