WHITMAN -- June 17, 2025, Whitman Conservation Commission opens Notice of Intent for a 44-unit Harvard Street development. The commission accepted a filing from applicant Steve Egan for a project at 447 Harvard Street consisting of a 29-unit building and 15 townhouses, scheduling a site visit for June 27 and a formal public hearing for July 1 at 7:45 p.m. The filing fee of approximately $2,000 reflects the project's scale near a wetland resource area, and the commission cannot close the hearing until the Department of Environmental Protection assigns a file number. Members also approved a $220.25 internal budget transfer to cover remaining fiscal-year salary costs and a $200 expense reimbursement for certified mailings, both on unanimous votes.
