WHITMAN — The Whitman Planning Board voted 4-0 to approve a site plan for an accessory dwelling unit at 9 Wild Turkey Lane. Chair Adam Somerville led the review under bylaw section 240-6.6, with members Robert Kimball, Elaine Bergeron and Jeffrey Sargis also sitting. The board confirmed the ADU's footprint at 22 by 25 feet, close to the 900-square-foot limit, with a front setback of 30.9 feet against a 30-foot requirement and a side setback of 21 feet against a 15-foot requirement.
Somerville said "the site plan approval is all they're requesting" before the unanimous vote. The board separately approved three sets of prior meeting minutes, each by 2-0 votes with two abstentions from members who had not attended those earlier sessions.
