Whitman Conservation Commission Clears Pond Treatment Bills, Adjourns After Seven Minutes
WHITMAN — September 2, 2025 — Whitman Conservation Commission approves $3,296.70 in pond treatment invoices and adjourns in seven minutes. The commission voted unanimously Tuesday to pay two Water and Wetland invoices for the town's 2025 aquatic management program — $1,382.70 for Harding Pond under invoice INV-25-40880, and $1,914 for Hobart Pond under invoice INV-25-40881 — along with payroll for two pay periods ending August 23 and August 30. Members also approved the August 19 meeting minutes without changes. Three action items from the previous meeting remain open: a site visit to the middle school property that could not be completed over the Labor Day weekend, a search for historical minutes related to a property identified as 16 Chicken Lane, and draft bylaw language that a member said she would distribute before the September 16 meeting.
