Whitman's Zoning Board of Appeals continued the Rye Hill Street duplex hearing to Sept. 21. Chair John Goldrosen met alone Monday, saying a quorum is not needed to continue a hearing. He read a letter from PMP Consulting Incorporated, signed by Project Manager Courtney Beckwith, asking for more time to redesign the multifamily duplex project at 25 Rye Hill Street, owned by Usamequin Realty Trust.
The redesign, the letter said, "will result in fewer variance requests." The board first heard case seven of 2026 on June 29. A planned discussion of state Zoning Act changes was held for a later meeting.
